The Mills House Hotel - Charleston, SC
Prior to this complete renovation, The Mills House Hotel was in a severe state of need and struggling to stay afloat in Charleston's highly competitive hotel market despite the efforts of excellent on-site management and staff. Their tireless dedication to this property was heroic.
Since this complete renovation the hotel's reputation has soared and is now considered "The Place to Stay" when visiting this wonderful city and it's charming historic area.
The Mills House is now a Conde' Nast Traveler Gold List Hotel, selected to Southern Living Magazine's "Best Places to Stay" list, and is also recognized by National Geographic Traveler as "Best of the City".
The interior design by our founder and President, Katherine Kesler has now received ASID's highly coveted and respected Prism Award for design excellence in hospitality for 2008.
